I am a Vedic Meditation teacher and an Ayurvedic Health Counselor in training.

Meditation and Vedic knowledge transformed my life for the better, so I've made it my mission to share this ancient wisdom and practices with others.

Training

After two years of studying hundreds of hours of advanced courses on the Vedas, I was accepted into the rigorous and prestigious teacher training program led by Thom Knoles in northern India.

For three months, I lived in an ashram in the foothills of the Himalayas. We delved deep into Vedic philosophy and spirituality and did a great deal of meditation - up to 14 hours a day for almost a month. We took test after test and learned everything about our tradition, our meditation technique, and working with students. The program was intense but extremely gratifying, as I am now able to teach this technique, having been trained to the highest standards.

I'm officially recognized by the ancient Shankaracharya tradition of India, with the blessing of Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj, a revered Master of India. There are fewer than 200 teachers in the world who meet this criteria.

I've studied for over 2,500 hours and have been closely trained by Thom Knoles - Maharishi Vyasanand Saraswati - the only Westerner in the world to have ever been inducted into the tradition at the highest level. Thom has taught meditation to over 40,000 people around the world and is an expert in the field of neuroscience and consciousness.

Story

I've always had a deep curiosity to understand myself, others, and the world around me. One of my biggest yet simplest questions was why I could feel happy for a while, but I couldn't sustain it. Deep down, I knew it was possible, so I started exploring all forms of therapy and alternative medicine. I read countless books on psychology, spirituality, and health, and I even studied Western Astrology for over two years. Learning all those tools and practices was great, but they mostly only worked on an intellectual level. I still wasn't achieving the sustained sense of well-being and happiness that I was looking for.

Further research and endless curiosity led me to Vedic Meditation and Ayurveda, a holistic system of health. Both come from the Vedas, India's ancient body of knowledge, from which yoga also comes from.

I began with Ayurveda and I was immediately fascinated by how simple yet powerful its practices were. A few months later I learned Vedic Meditation, and I had the same experience: it was simple yet incredibly powerful. I found the sustained well-being I had been seeking; my stress levels significantly diminished, I began feeling more at ease, more accepting of myself and life, and I gained a sense of purpose - I needed to share this with others.

I'm now teaching meditation in Oaxaca, Mexico City, and Toronto. I'm continuing my Ayurveda studies to better support others on their health journey, and I also do graphic design whenever an exciting project comes up.
